  How To Film Yourself? 1. Start with the end in mind. What is the intent of the shooting? Story? Emotions? Color? Edit? Or camera settings? The list goes on. You have to have an idea of how this will look in the final product before shooting. 2. Build confidence. The more time you're in front of the lens, the easier it becomes. Here's a great tip if you need help with this. Start thinking when shooting yourself; that is only you and the camera. This helps me often when I struggle to look into the camera or be the actor in my stories. 3. Gear. You don't need expensive equipment to film yourself. A tripod is almost a must. And I would highly recommend it. Nowadays, you can come a long way with just having your phone. You can record and edit with it. The best camera will never come.
